Our own Hilda is spending her weekends with the community in Katamanso to increase the awareness of the CASH IT! Recycling Plant. she works to spread the word that we buys the plastic collected from the streets and reprocesses in crushed and washed LDPE and HDPE to sell to recyclers in Accra. Hilda explains to people how to separate plastic from the other waste and keep it for the collectors or bring it to the collection points which our project will create. This way they can cash in on the value of their plastic waste and keep their streets clean and safe.
