Launching the plastic waste collection pilot ‘SESA Recycling’

We are excited to announce the launch of SESA Recycling a new plastic recycling initiative in collaboration with C’Propre, a French start-up whose already proven its concept in Côte d’Ivoire. SESA Recycling launched this week at the Ashaiman Cluster of Schools. The children at the school have been provided with plastic bins to separately collect their plastic bottles, cans and paper. The program not only encourages recycling but also educates the younger generation about proper recycling practices. With the help of our co-founder Hilda, who’s other UN sponsored foundation Football For Water already runs a global sanitation program, we were able to set up this pilot and seamlessly connect with the local schools.
